Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Uberto Ackerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorian Walthert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uberto Ackerman might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorian Walthert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uberto Ackerman ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Romanel HC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sebastian Trolla hit a great ball. Hajo Pelchat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felicien Bourgouin having to interfere. Lester Kretz kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Hajo Pelchat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Uberto Ackerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romanel HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Uberto Ackerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Walthert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hans-Ruedi Figini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Walthert having to interfere. Dorian Walthert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans-Ruedi Figini in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uberto Ackerman in the 35th minute of play forced Zug's goalkeeper Dorian Walthert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorian Walthert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uberto Ackerman in the 37th minute of play. Hans-Ruedi Figini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Walthert having to interfere. Bastien Panara kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Uberto Ackerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dorian Walthert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 52 minutes, Hans-Ruedi Figini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romanel HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans-Ruedi Figini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hajo Pelchat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Felicien Bourgouin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Zug's zone, Hans-Ruedi Figini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorian Walthert came out of the goal and Hans-Ruedi Figini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uberto Ackerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Romanel HC's Hans-Ruedi Figini in the 62nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Dorian Walthert was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Zug through an amazing save. In the 63rd minute, Bastien Panara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romanel HC's Felicien Bourgouin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hajo Pelchat in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Zug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastien Panara to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Romanel HC booed when Zug was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janos Laderoute didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uberto Ackerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dorian Walthert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorian Walthert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Ruedi Figini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans-Ruedi Figini ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Romanel HC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
