Nero Foerster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mac Donders having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Saland FC's Raphael Bianco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Solomon Lagnaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tomas Wider placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 40thth minute of the game Raphael Bianco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Outsiders's Solomon Lagnaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raphael Bianco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Solomon Lagnaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Rast fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Solomon Lagnaz having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mac Donders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nero Foerster, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute, Nero Foerster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dominique Notter struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Mac Donders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Outsiders. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Rast got free with Solomon Lagnaz in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Saland FC's Raphael Bianco in 69 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Solomon Lagnaz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Raphael Bianco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saland FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raphael Bianco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Solomon Lagnaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Solomon Lagnaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Rast in the 72nd minute. Solomon Lagnaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rene Rast had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Outsiders's zone, Rene Rast stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Solomon Lagnaz came out of the goal and Rene Rast tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saland FC's Raphael Bianco got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saland FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
