To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Poldi Schenk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Janos Trommler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8thth minute of the game Fremont Ettlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Asters's Janos Trommler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 13 in the game by Fremont Ettlin from a close distance when the talented Janos Trommler managed to make a qualified save. FC Asters's players were relieved. Janos Trommler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fremont Ettlin's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Christian Frankfurter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ephraim Hess in the 17th minute of play. If Wilbur Steffen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janos Trommler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Poldi Schenk, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 25 minutes, Casimir Stinde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Olten and the FC Asters players grew even worse after the yellow card. Casimir Stinde kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Fremont Ettlin in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 41stth minute of the game Fremont Ettlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Asters's Janos Trommler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Poldi Schenk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laurentius Schwartz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fremont Ettlin in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Janos Trommler saved FC Asters from getting behind. In the 54th minute, Andreas Wicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fc Olten's Riccardo Zäch got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Poldi Schenk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janos Trommler having to interfere. If Poldi Schenk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janos Trommler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Fremont Ettlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. Casimir Stinde scored 4-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Janos Trommler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Solomon Ehrler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janos Trommler having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Fremont Ettlin notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of FC Asters's Janos Trommler. Janos Trommler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Fremont Ettlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Olten's supporters rose to their feet, but Fremont Ettlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janos Trommler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
