Williams Büeler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurentius Schwartz in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Maloggia SC's goal looked a bit too open when Laurentius Schwartz came free, but Williams Büeler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Williams Büeler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felicien Schnieper in the 27th minute. Geoffrey Jenni kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. FC Asters's Karl Egemann shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 35th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Williams Büeler but with some difficulty. Claudio Egli kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Laurentius Schwartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Williams Büeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laurentius Schwartz to make the kick off. Maloggia SC's Geoffrey Jenni quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Demetrius Seiler, made in the 52nd minute of the game. After having played for 52 minutes, Geoffrey Jenni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maloggia SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geoffrey Jenni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 played minutes FC Asters got a freekick which was hit by Ephraim Hess. When Ephraim Hess fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Asters's protests and gave Ephraim Hess a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, FC Asters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ephraim Hess to maneuver through the defense. When Claudio Egli fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maloggia SC's protests and gave Claudio Egli a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Maloggia SC's Claudio Egli got a free kick in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the game, Felicien Schnieper cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Williams Büeler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 67 minutes of play, FC Asters's Felicien Schnieper made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Williams Büeler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felicien Schnieper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Williams Büeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Williams Büeler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred-Marc Meyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Maloggia SC's Williams Büeler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felicien Schnieper in the 97th minute of play. FC Asters walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
