The tension between the SQUAIRE GAMBETTA and the goloz players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of goloz booed when SQUAIRE GAMBETTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Panetier didn't get a good kick on the ball. SQUAIRE GAMBETTA's Lienhard Steiner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save SQUAIRE GAMBETTA from getting a goal against them. Filippo Panetier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Kurt Eigensatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, SQUAIRE GAMBETTA's goalkeeper Lienhard Steiner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marino Diederich. In the 14th match minute, goloz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrizius Schläpfer to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Leo Steiger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurt Eigensatz was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Pablo Engel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The goloz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Patrizius Schläpfer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lienhard Steiner. Patrizius Schläpfer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Filippo Panetier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pablo Engel charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Engel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pablo Engel hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Filippo Panetier made the kick off in the second half. Lienhard Steiner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrizius Schläpfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 52 played minutes SQUAIRE GAMBETTA got a freekick which was hit by Sixtus Wehrlin. Placidus Cascarella took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lienhard Steiner. SQUAIRE GAMBETTA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Filippo Panetier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malte Eichenberger kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Lienhard Steiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marino Diederich in the 65th minute of the match. Marino Diederich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lienhard Steiner having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Filippo Panetier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kurt Eigensatz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute, Leo Steiger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filippo Panetier came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kurt Eigensatz could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marino Diederich in the 78th minute of play forced SQUAIRE GAMBETTA's goalkeeper Lienhard Steiner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Filippo Panetier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SQUAIRE GAMBETTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo Panetier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Steiger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filippo Panetier struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Kurt Eigensatz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SQUAIRE GAMBETTA. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. goloz were victorious despite being under pressure from SQUAIRE GAMBETTA for much of the match.
