Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dario Finger started the match with the kick off. When Ivan Lehmann came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the FC Thun 1898 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Lehmann couldn't finish the play. Farid Finger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Bühler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9th play minutes Emiliano Bühler shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Farid Finger and just under the crossbar into goal. After 13 played minutes FC Thun 1898 got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy Riedweg. In the 14thth minute of the game Dario Finger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Thun 1898's Farid Finger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emiliano Bühler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farid Finger having to interfere. LucaLucan Waldburger might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toby Grob. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. LucaLucan Waldburger ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Chiasso SC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Henrick Fabich hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Chiasso SC defense, Basilius Saluz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toby Grob. The Chiasso SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toby Grob should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute Emiliano Bühler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Finger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When LucaLucan Waldburger came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the FC Thun 1898 fans jumped to their feet. Harvey Besse kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Farid Finger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Finger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilius Saluz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Toby Grob made a huge save. FC Thun 1898's Henri Stinde got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilius Saluz to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Dario Finger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Farid Finger. The goal made the score 2-2. Toby Grob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilius Saluz, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Henri Stinde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chiasso SC's goalkeeper Toby Grob, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Farid Finger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Finger, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Henri Stinde managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Thun 1898's supporters rose to their feet, but Henri Stinde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toby Grob breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Finger in the 75th minute of play forced FC Thun 1898's goalkeeper Farid Finger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farid Finger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Finger, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Chiasso SC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilius Saluz came free, but Toby Grob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henri Stinde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toby Grob having to interfere. Ivan Lehmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Toby Grob tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Emiliano Bühler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiasso SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Bühler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 minutes, Harvey Besse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chiasso SC and the FC Thun 1898 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Harvey Besse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremy Riedweg kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Harvey Besse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farid Finger having to interfere. FC Thun 1898 were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
