In the 6thth minute of the game Rodolphe Ambühl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scharmadläger SC's Arnold Hottiger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Scharmadläger SC's goal looked a bit too open when Samir Büchler came free, but Arnold Hottiger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Prussia booed when Scharmadläger SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niko Kaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, FC Prussia's Rodolphe Ambühl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnold Hottiger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After recieving a nice pass, Scharmadläger SC's Francesco Verdon tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Matthieu Dufresne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Schaller having to interfere. Arnold Hottiger came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Prussia's Rodolphe Ambühl. But to his dismay, Rodolphe Ambühl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Scharmadläger SC booed when FC Prussia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertrand Schenkel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Francesco Verdon in the 43rd minute really tested Fabian Schaller's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. FC Prussia's Fabian Schaller proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save FC Prussia from getting a goal against them. If Matthieu Dufresne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthieu Dufresne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Rodolphe Ambühl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolphe Ambühl got free with Arnold Hottiger in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 66 minutes, Rodolphe Ambühl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Prussia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolphe Ambühl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, FC Prussia's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Soltermann came free, but Fabian Schaller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnold Hottiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samir Büchler, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 69th match minute, FC Prussia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garron Eberhardt to maneuver through the defense. Garron Eberhardt's late challenge caught a Scharmadläger SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garron Eberhardt helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes FC Prussia got a freekick which was hit by Garron Eberhardt. With his leg Arnold Hottiger managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when FC Prussia's Rodolphe Ambühl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 83rd minute, FC Prussia's Samir Büchler dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Rodolphe Ambühl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnold Hottiger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Arnold Hottiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samir Büchler in the 89th minute of play. When Scharmadläger SC's Kevin Soltermann in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Prussia's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Scharmadläger SC's Arnold Hottiger got control of the ball when Rodolphe Ambühl tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Samir Büchler took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Arnold Hottiger to make any attempt to save it.
