Spectators: 7760 (Terracing: 5821, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maurice Lüthi kicked off to start the match. After 7 played minutes Band of Brothers got a freekick which was hit by Uli Obrecht. Matthew Amlehn kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Milo Zäch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kerwin Nyfeler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, F.C. Porto's goalkeeper Bruno Waller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicholas Seitz. F.C. Porto's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Maurice Lüthi scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Waller, making the score, 1-1. Maurice Lüthi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Waller having to interfere. Maurice Lüthi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bruno Waller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, F.C. Porto's goalkeeper Bruno Waller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicholas Seitz. Nicholas Seitzs short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Bruno Waller to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nicholas Seitz struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Bruno Waller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Band of Brothers. After having played for 42 minutes, Maurice Lüthi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Band of Brothers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurice Lüthi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicholas Seitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurice Lüthi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bruno Waller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Garfield Zinniker to make the kick off. If Maurice Lüthi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes, Band of Brothers's Leverett Brandenberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Waller came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Band of Brothers reached it. Bruno Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Lüthi in the 57th minute of play. After 61st play minutes Garfield Zinniker shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Kerwin Nyfeler and just under the crossbar into goal. Band of Brothers's Nicholas Seitz got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Albin Jaun fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Porto's protests and gave Albin Jaun a yellow card for diving instead. When Band of Brothers's Maurice Lüthi in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Porto's goalie prevented a goal. Enrique Büto charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Büto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Colin Krauer during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Band of Brothers booed when F.C. Porto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colin Krauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C. Porto's Bruno Waller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurice Lüthi in the 75th minute of play. Nicholas Seitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bruno Waller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The F.C. Porto players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
