Holm Langelier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Forrester Crook having to interfere. In the 6th minute Holm Langelier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Forrester Crook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes, Gerschnialp FAC's Marcello Fassbind shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Forrester Crook came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gerschnialp FAC reached it. Leonhard Wirth kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Forrester Crook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holm Langelier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonhard Wirth during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fc Kuny getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Leonhard Wirth hit a great ball. Fc Kuny's Forrester Crook played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holm Langelier in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopold Aberle during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Gerschnialp FAC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopold Aberle to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Gerschnialp FAC defense, Jesaja Ruano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Koller. The Gerschnialp FAC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Koller should have stopped the shot. When Herbert Pascolo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Fc Kuny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Pascolo couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Jesaja Ruano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonhard Wirth was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 36 played minutes Fc Kuny got a freekick which was hit by Leonhard Wirth. In the 38th minute, Louie Wagner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Holm Langelier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Forrester Crook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Louie Wagner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Gerschnialp FAC defense, Jesaja Ruano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Koller. The Gerschnialp FAC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Koller should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Louie Wagner made a kick off. Forrester Crook made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stef Eberli in the 56th minute. Renatus Pfeifer struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Bruno Koller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Kuny. Xavier Berardi charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavier Berardi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gerschnialp FAC! Gerd Brandstetter walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a little luck, Fc Kuny's Forrester Crook got control of the ball when Holm Langelier tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Louie Wagner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Louie Wagner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Forrester Crook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
