Louie Wagner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Roby Donsante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Blau-Weiss Tristan's goalkeeper Roby Donsante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Holm Langelier. Roby Donsante made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Holm Langelier sent off a good shot on target. Louie Wagner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roby Donsante having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gerschnialp FAC's zone, Jose Di Luca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Koller came out of the goal and Jose Di Luca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lawrence Coccia hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Blau-Weiss Tristan's Jose Di Luca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Koller made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bruno Koller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Di Luca in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Gerschnialp FAC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Liniger to maneuver through the defense. When Jose Di Luca came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Blau-Weiss Tristan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Di Luca couldn't finish the play. Bruno Koller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Di Luca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gerschnialp FAC's goalkeeper Bruno Koller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Blau-Weiss Tristan were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 72 played minutes Gerschnialp FAC got a freekick which was hit by Janosch Probst. 72 minutes into the match, Gerschnialp FAC's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Malatesta came free, but Bruno Koller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Louie Wagner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gerschnialp FAC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Jose Di Luca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Koller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Louie Wagner hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Gerschnialp FAC's Bruno Koller got control of the ball when Jose Di Luca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerschnialp FAC's Bruno Koller proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Gerschnialp FAC from getting a goal against them.
