If Raymond Striednig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute, Raymond Striednig made a precise shot to the right of Fabien Geiger. KS Pionki's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Simone Schmid's late challenge caught a Joga Bonito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simone Schmid helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, KS Pionki's Simone Schmid got a free kick in the 14th minute. Joga Bonito's Milan Graupe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piedro Schultheiss in the 20th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Piedro Schultheiss kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Milan Graupe. That made the score 2-1 in the 22 minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Milan Graupe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sylvain Beike. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Sven Rudin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joga Bonito's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Rudin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabien Geiger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute Sven Rudin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Geiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piedro Schultheiss in the 45th minute of play forced Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Milan Graupe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Sven Rudin. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Piedro Schultheiss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dean Boileau scored 3-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Milan Graupe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raymond Striednig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabien Geiger having to interfere. The referee ignored KS Pionki's protests and gave Remi Zeiher a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KS Pionki! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Joga Bonito. Pirmin Fah stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabien Geiger. 3-2. 84 minutes into the match, Sylvain Beike notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Joga Bonito's Milan Graupe. Milan Graupe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th match minute, Joga Bonito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Rudin to maneuver through the defense. Sven Rudin hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Fabien Geiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pirmin Fah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Joga Bonito booed when KS Pionki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baptiste Zacchia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Sven Rudin managed to get in a good position for a shot.
