FC Nawi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Etoile-Laconnex the free kick. In the 3rd minute, one of FC Nawi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Nawi. Matthias Leuthard walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 5th minute, Matthias Leuthard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Matthias Leuthard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthias Leuthard in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastien Vogt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Nawi's Sebastien Vogt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Leuthard in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Matthias Leuthard dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sebastien Vogt, 2-0. Etoile-Laconnex's Dick Fuchs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harrison Felix in the 29th minute of play. Matthias Leuthard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastien Vogt having to interfere. Matthias Leuthard received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastien Vogt came out and tried to block the shot, but Matthias Leuthard slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 34th minute. A collision led to FC Nawi getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Franco Ettlin hit a great ball. Sebastien Vogt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Gersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Etoile-Laconnex's Christian Gersten got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harrison Felix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Matthias Leuthard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Matthias Leuthard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastien Vogt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastien Vogt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthias Leuthard went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the match, Spencer Baader notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC Nawi's Sebastien Vogt. Sebastien Vogt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christian Gersten struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Sebastien Vogt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Etoile-Laconnex. Matthias Leuthard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sebastien Vogt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastien Vogt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Etoile-Laconnex players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
