After 4 played minutes, FC Nawi's Luis Kirchner shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Etienne Mauer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Nawi reached it. Uli Maina kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, FK Republika Srpska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tade Hammer to maneuver through the defense. Pierre Netzer kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Nawi's zone, Gregor Kernen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastien Vogt came out of the goal and Gregor Kernen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pierre Netzer's late challenge caught a FK Republika Srpska's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre Netzer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Nawi getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Pierre Netzer hit a great ball. In the 19th match minute, FK Republika Srpska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudi Wanner to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, FK Republika Srpska's Gregor Kernen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastien Vogt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pierre Netzer kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, FK Republika Srpska's Daniele Parizeau broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gregor Kernen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastien Vogt having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play, FK Republika Srpska's Pierre Kuster made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastien Vogt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pierre Kuster who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Sebastien Vogt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Jiri Zollinger fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Nawi's protests and gave Jiri Zollinger a yellow card for diving instead. Jiri Zollinger kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The long shot by Tade Hammer in the 44th minute really tested Sebastien Vogt's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 45 minutes into the game, Silvan Wermelinger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Nawi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Republika Srpska the free kick. Silvan Wermelinger hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Sebastien Vogt made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Pierre Kuster sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregor Kernen was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Pierre Kuster notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Nawi's Sebastien Vogt. Sebastien Vogt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FK Republika Srpska's Etienne Mauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harrison Felix in the 56th minute of play. Harrison Felix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Etienne Mauer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, FC Nawi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanley Engel to maneuver through the defense. Sebastien Vogt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Kuster, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Franco Ettlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute Gregor Kernen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastien Vogt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Nawi's zone, Pierre Kuster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastien Vogt came out of the goal and Pierre Kuster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pierre Kuster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sebastien Vogt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FK Republika Srpska's Gregor Kernen got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Pierre Kuster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franco Ettlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Etienne Mauer made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Claudio Graf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FK Republika Srpska's Daniele Parizeau got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Franco Ettlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FK Republika Srpska's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
