Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedro Schorta kicked off to start the match. Louis Affolter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romain Müller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikita Ziegerer went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Affolter in the 12th minute of play forced Becher FC's goalkeeper Romain Müller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes of play, Taverne's Louis Affolter made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romain Müller was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Becher FC's Benedict Bernuzzi got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 28 minutes, Jefferson Huber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taverne and the Becher FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yves Tschopp shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Pedro Schorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellus Jung having to interfere. After some careless play in the Becher FC defense, Nikita Ziegerer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romain Müller. The Becher FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romain Müller should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Taverne's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Schorta came free, but Marcellus Jung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Beltrame Schaller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Becher FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Taverne's Marcellus Jung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Schorta in the 55th minute of play. Beltrame Schaller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Pedro Schorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcellus Jung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beltrame Schaller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellus Jung having to interfere. Marcellus Jung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Schorta in the 65th minute of the match. Louis Affolter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Beltrame Schaller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcellus Jung was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. When Beltrame Schaller came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Becher FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beltrame Schaller couldn't finish the play. Pedro Schorta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcellus Jung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Schorta in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Taverne got a freekick which was hit by Rainier Oester. After 95 played minutes, Becher FC's Yves Tschopp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcellus Jung came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Becher FC reached it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Taverne eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
