That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. After some careless play in the Felsenau SC defense, Holger Rager kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerold Zimmermann. The Felsenau SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerold Zimmermann should have stopped the shot. Timoteo Käuflin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mischa Rutsch having to interfere. Vicente Lampron took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mischa Rutsch. FC Basel 1982's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timoteo Käuflin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Timoteo Käuflin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Felsenau SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. FC Basel 1982's Mischa Rutsch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC Basel 1982 from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FC Basel 1982's Mischa Rutsch got control of the ball when Fabio Riedweg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabio Riedweg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 84th minute Sven Lenzin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mischa Rutsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Fabio Riedweg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Felsenau SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Riedweg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mischa Rutsch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mischa Rutsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Riedweg in the 91st minute of the match. Mischa Rutsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Käuflin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Felsenau SC were the better team. Felsenau SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
