Spectators: 7394 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ivan Dafond got the match started through his kick off. Freeman Sperisen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Donato Von tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Yannis Lauri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Von was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 7th minute, Yannis Lauri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yannis Lauri in the 8th minute of play forced Glattburg's goalkeeper Donato Von to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yannis Lauri in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Von prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes, Yannis Lauri made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Glattburg's Donato Von tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Glattburg's goalkeeper Donato Von had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yannis Lauri. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Freeman Sperisen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mon's supporters rose to their feet, but Freeman Sperisen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Von breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute Freeman Sperisen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Von saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Ernestin Pfaff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yannis Lauri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Donato Von skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 46 minutes into the game, Hubert Strebel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Donato Von. Hubert Strebel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Connor Schällibaum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Dafond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mon booed when Glattburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Dafond didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mon's Yannis Lauri in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glattburg's goalie prevented a goal. Freeman Sperisen struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Donato Von didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mon. If Freeman Sperisen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64th play minutes Yannis Lauri shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Donato Von and just under the crossbar into goal. Mon's Mirko Giacomozzi was substituted for Yannis Lauri. When Mon's Mirko Giacomozzi in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glattburg's goalie prevented a goal. Freeman Sperisen took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Von. Donato Von dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Mon made a substitution. Constantin Lajoie replaced Flo Hoch. When Mon's Mirko Giacomozzi in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glattburg's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Mon players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
