He was immediately shown a red card. 5 minutes into the game, one of Rothenbrummen AC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 7th minute, where Gontenschwil FC:s Lars Jakobeit tricked Rothenbrummen AC:s Jeremias Duss with a difficult ball by the left post. Gontenschwil FC's Kim Desruisseaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Strobel in the 10th minute of play. When Alfred Moser came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Rothenbrummen AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Moser couldn't finish the play. Gontenschwil FC's Kim Desruisseaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Moser in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Leo Frutig notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gontenschwil FC's Kim Desruisseaux. Kim Desruisseaux was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, Leo Frutig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Alfred Moser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rothenbrummen AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Moser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfred Moser kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Chip Bühler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gontenschwil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chip Bühler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Duss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Gontenschwil FC's Kim Desruisseaux got control of the ball when Leo Frutig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeremias Duss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chip Bühler in the 96th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Rothenbrummen AC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
