Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Chip Bühler got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Gontenschwil FC's zone, Udo Muff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kim Desruisseaux came out of the goal and Udo Muff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC March Höfe's goalkeeper Manolito Gschwind, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Udo Muff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Kim Desruisseaux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cody Wapf had several of the Gontenschwil FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Kim Desruisseaux as he didn't even see the shot coming. Udo Muff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Desruisseaux having to interfere. Oswin Scheupach who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Kim Desruisseaux when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Chip Bühler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gontenschwil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 34 played minutes FC March Höfe got a freekick which was hit by Teddy Marty. Oswin Scheupach hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Philipp Gugolz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolito Gschwind having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cody Wapf to make the kick off. When Udo Muff came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC March Höfe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Udo Muff couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cody Wapf in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kim Desruisseaux prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cody Wapf's late challenge caught a Gontenschwil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cody Wapf helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, FC March Höfe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cody Wapf to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Teddy Marty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC March Höfe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gontenschwil FC the free kick. In the 71st match minute, FC March Höfe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddy Marty to maneuver through the defense. Kim Desruisseaux stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Udo Muff's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute Cody Wapf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Desruisseaux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alwin Haag during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Alwin Haag hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, FC March Höfe's goalkeeper Manolito Gschwind had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Philipp Gugolz. Kim Desruisseaux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cody Wapf in the 88th minute of the match. Udo Muff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Desruisseaux having to interfere. FC March Höfe's Cody Wapf got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that FC March Höfe were the better team. FC March Höfe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
