Homer Murray came out of the goal and Thoralf Yelmorini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Joao United getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Urban Conti hit a great ball. The FC Joao United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Seewis were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fréderic Schellhammer was the one to do the kick off. Markus Pernhardt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoffroy De la Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Homer Murray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Boller, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. FC Joao United's Markus Pernhardt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FC Joao United from getting a goal against them. Seewis's Homer Murray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Boller in the 75th minute of play.
