Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Torin Ryf kicked off to start the match. Giusto Pascolo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giusto Pascolo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 minutes of play, BSC YB's Thaddäus Wyder made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ellison Affentranger was left in no man's land by his defense there! BSC YB's Regnier Straub got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Regnier Straub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torin Ryf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serge Bürgler having to make a save. Sylvain Lisibach kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Janosch Biland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Serge Bürgler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Regnier Straub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ellison Affentranger having to interfere. In the 35th minute of the match Severiano Lüdi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ellison Affentranger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lucien Bugnon hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Francesco Amberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serge Bürgler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Regnier Straub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ellison Affentranger having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Thaddäus Wyder made a precise shot to the right of Ellison Affentranger. Sementina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half BSC YB were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Torin Ryf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sementina's supporters rose to their feet, but Torin Ryf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serge Bürgler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Regnier Straub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ellison Affentranger having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, BSC YB's goal looked a bit too open when Janosch Biland came free, but Serge Bürgler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giusto Pascolo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Torin Ryf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thaddäus Wyder in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ellison Affentranger saved Sementina from getting behind. Regnier Straub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Torin Ryf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serge Bürgler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Sennrich in the 87th minute of the match. When Severiano Lüdi fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BSC YB's protests and gave Severiano Lüdi a yellow card for diving instead. If Sergio Feierabend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Torin Ryf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Janosch Biland came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Sementina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janosch Biland couldn't finish the play. The BSC YB supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BSC YB would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
