Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulo Drechsler took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Berikon got a freekick which was hit by Gerard Büto. When Hrvatska's Paulo Drechsler in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berikon's goalie prevented a goal. Paulo Drechsler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pius Angelici read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Gianni Troxler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Mela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Berikon's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Melone came free, but Pius Angelici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Hrvatska's Tibor Waltispühl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pius Angelici made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Paulo Drechsler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pius Angelici was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 33rd match minute, Berikon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Bohm to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Drechsler in the 45th minute of play forced Berikon's goalkeeper Pius Angelici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Hrvatska were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gianni Troxler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Malte Bohm got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Hrvatska booed when Berikon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludovic Vehma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes Berikon got a freekick which was hit by Gianni Frischknecht. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Paulo Drechsler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hrvatska's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Drechsler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pius Angelici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the game, Uriel Melone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Pius Angelici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Uriel Melone succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 68th playminute. With a little luck, Berikon's Pius Angelici got control of the ball when Tibor Waltispühl tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Berikon booed when Hrvatska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Melone didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Uriel Melone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pius Angelici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Melone, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Berikon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hrvatska were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
