Raul Walliser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felice Steiner's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Kersten Camiscia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Fussball Club Luzern's zone, Carlos Racine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Walliser came out of the goal and Carlos Racine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fussball Club Luzern's Benedict Lustenberger got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Raul Walliser managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Reigoldswil's Felice Steiner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leonard Karlen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Fussball Club Luzern's zone, Felice Steiner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Walliser came out of the goal and Felice Steiner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Leonard Megnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felton Barkholz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felice Steiner during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Felice Steiner sped through Fussball Club Luzern's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raul Walliser. 33 minutes in the game, Kersten Camiscia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Raul Walliser having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Felice Steiner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reigoldswil's supporters rose to their feet, but Felice Steiner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Walliser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the game, Lovis Wicki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raul Walliser. Lovis Wicki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Leverett Fuerst charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leverett Fuerst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Fussball Club Luzern's Dimitrij Thürig got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Felice Steiner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Raul Walliser was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Felice Steiner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Walliser was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Celestino Stumpo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Racine in the 74th minute of play forced Fussball Club Luzern's goalkeeper Raul Walliser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Felice Steiner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Walliser was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Raul Walliser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quentin Dietrich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Fussball Club Luzern's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Steiner came free, but Raul Walliser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reigoldswil's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
