The crowd rose to their feet as FC Ibach's Tommy Zulle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Forrester Peter. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Zulle in the 15th minute of play forced Bolligen Bulls's goalkeeper Forrester Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Perez Jardan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Nager saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perez Jardan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perez Jardan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johnny Nager showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perez Jardan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Forrester Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Zulle, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommy Zulle to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Tommy Zulle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Forrester Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Tommy Zulle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Forrester Peter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Frederick Figini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Salomo Ackerman fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ibach's protests and gave Salomo Ackerman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, FC Ibach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salomo Ackerman to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bolligen Bulls booed when FC Ibach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamilton Ubersechs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helmut Huez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bolligen Bulls's Perez Jardan got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frederick Figini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Johnny Nager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnny Nager made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Weingartner in the 97th minute of play. The FC Ibach support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
