Ian Routhier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Felder, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Thomas Schuster was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Nikodemus Vitelli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nikodemus Vitelli really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francis Margùerat during the 15th minute. Ian Routhier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 21 played minutes Fc Deaf got a freekick which was hit by Vincenzo Jenny. Ian Routhier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincenzo Jenny in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Patricius Schneider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Nikodemus Vitelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nankatzu F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikodemus Vitelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Schuster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gillian Kohler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikodemus Vitelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikodemus Vitelli got free with Thomas Schuster in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Nankatzu F.C booed when Fc Deaf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Piller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gillian Kohler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Schuster having to interfere. Ian Routhier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Piller in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Gillian Kohler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincenzo Jenny succeeded in the game's 48th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Nikodemus Vitelli made the kick off in the second half. Birger Leclerc got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mike Felder. 63 minutes in the game Maurizio Engel did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vincenzo Jenny. In the 64th minute of the match, Freeman Braun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ian Routhier saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thomas Schuster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilian Monney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Fc Deaf's Freeman Braun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ian Routhier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 74 minutes into the match, Mike Felder dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ian Routhier, 1-4. With an all-out effort, Fc Deaf's Ian Routhier threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Freeman Braun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Nikodemus Vitelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Schuster was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Hans-Ruedi Reufer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Schuster having to interfere. Fabius Hirsch was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ian Routhier made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Mike Felder sent off a good shot on target. If Nikodemus Vitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikodemus Vitelli struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Thomas Schuster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nankatzu F.C. Vincenzo Jenny took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Routhier. Ian Routhier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Nankatzu F.C were furious when Gillian Kohler was red carded, 97 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nankatzu F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ian Routhier, was totally fooled by Fc Deaf's Maurizio Engel, who 99 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fc Deaf eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
