After 19 minutes Bolligen Bulls's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guido Zeyer who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Renens's corner Guido Zeyer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Forrester Peter quite easily take care of the ball. In the 20th minute Urbain Gräf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Forrester Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perez Jardan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvanus Bianco having to interfere. Kurt Wigger charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Perez Jardan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolligen Bulls's supporters rose to their feet, but Perez Jardan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvanus Bianco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the game, Spencer Barth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Renens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolligen Bulls the free kick. Spencer Barth kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When Carlo Weingartner came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Bolligen Bulls fans jumped to their feet. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Renens reached it. Andreas Righetti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Forrester Peter made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Riccardo Flückiger during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Riccardo Flückiger hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Bolligen Bulls's Forrester Peter got control of the ball when Andreas Righetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlo Weingartner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederick Figini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvanus Bianco having to interfere. Forrester Peter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Although Bolligen Bulls had been in control for most of the match, Renens still came away with the win.
