An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Bruno Capoccitti got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Bruno Capoccitti sped through Mollettes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Quentin Dupéré. After a rather tough play, Mollettes's Cyrill Eiholzer got a free kick in the 11th minute. Sixt Illi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Quentin Dupéré. Mollettes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Quentin Dupéré showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocky Schaer, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rocky Schaer in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quentin Dupéré prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mollettes's Quentin Dupéré proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Mollettes from getting a goal against them. Falco Stähelin's late challenge caught a Rigor Mortis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Falco Stähelin helped the player get up and apologised. 33 minutes into the game, one of Mollettes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Rigor Mortis a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sixt Illi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mollettes's Quentin Dupéré. 2-0. After 37 minutes, Jan Lessard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mollettes and the Rigor Mortis players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Mollettes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Lessard to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rocky Schaer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quentin Dupéré was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. If Bruno Capoccitti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quentin Dupéré took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocky Schaer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rocky Schaer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Falco Stähelin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alphonse Enzmann didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falco Stähelin in the 56th minute of play forced Rigor Mortis's goalkeeper Alphonse Enzmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falco Stähelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alphonse Enzmann having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Rocky Schaer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quentin Dupéré showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocky Schaer, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cyrill Eiholzer during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cyrill Eiholzer kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mollettes's zone, Bruno Capoccitti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quentin Dupéré came out of the goal and Bruno Capoccitti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the game, Rigor Mortis's Bruno Capoccitti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quentin Dupéré made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When Falco Stähelin came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Mollettes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Falco Stähelin couldn't finish the play. After 81 minutes of play, Mollettes's Falco Stähelin made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alphonse Enzmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cyrill Eiholzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alphonse Enzmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alphonse Enzmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Herzog in the 89th minute of play.
