After the first half Berna FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergej Eggers made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marius Frère got free with Arthur Seifert in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arthur Seifert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Kobel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Swisser hc's goal looked a bit too open when Raymond Kobel came free, but Arthur Seifert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hampton Jeker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Arthur Seifert made a huge save. When Raymond Kobel in the 64th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Arthur Seifert kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 67th minute, Diego Schumacher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Raymond Kobel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raymond Kobel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Seifert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute of the match, Marius Frère got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arthur Seifert was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Kobel in the 88th minute of play forced Swisser hc's goalkeeper Arthur Seifert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Marius Frère ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arthur Seifert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When the match was over Berna FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Swisser hc throughout the match.
