In the 4th match minute, Valens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kilian Kuefer to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Hirter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverius Hébert in the 6th minute. The supporters of FC Siska booed when Valens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Buser didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Silverius Hébert made a precise shot to the right of Marcel Hirter. Valens's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Silverius Hébert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Hirter having to interfere. A collision led to Valens getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Laurentius Leuenberger hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, FC Siska's Arnold Bossardt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Hirter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roy Wasser charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roy Wasser the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Lorenzo Hitz came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Valens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Hitz couldn't finish the play. Wilbur Hänggi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Simon Vonarburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Silverius Hébert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Wilbur Hänggi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valens's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilbur Hänggi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Vonarburg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenzo Hitz in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Vonarburg saved FC Siska from getting behind. In the 38th minute Wilbur Hänggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Vonarburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Wilbur Hänggi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilbur Hänggi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Arnold Bossardt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorenzo Hitz to make the kick off. Wilbur Hänggi in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Simon Vonarburg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 56th match minute, FC Siska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyril Buttliger to maneuver through the defense. Silverius Hébert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kai Reinhard kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Valens got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Buser. When FC Siska's Silverius Hébert in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valens's goalie prevented a goal. Lorenzo Hitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FC Siska's Simon Vonarburg got control of the ball when Wilbur Hänggi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Simon Vonarburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Hitz in the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Lorenzo Hitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Hitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcel Hirter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Bossardt in the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Siska's Roy Wasser got a free kick in the 96th minute. Valens were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after FC Siska's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brian Ciprella took the corner. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Siska fans cheered their team off the field, for while Valens had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
