The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Roth Rothschild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Luca Zettel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roth Rothschild in the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Villarsel AC's goal looked a bit too open when Roth Rothschild came free, but Luca Zettel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Roth Rothschild kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luca Zettel. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Jaques Wiss took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luca Zettel. Luca Zettel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jaques Wiss might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luca Zettel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaques Wiss ran back to his position shaking his head. In a very dangerous position, a player in Villarsel AC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Luca Zettel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roth Rothschild, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to Aventador-Sirnach getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rico Amrein hit a great ball. Gilberto Zeffiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Camenzind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Graf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Zeffiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Camenzind having to interfere. Jaques Wiss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luca Zettel having to interfere. Rico Amrein hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaques Wiss made a kick off. Patrice Léveillé could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Alfonso Camenzind made a huge save. In the 56thth minute of the game Jaques Wiss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villarsel AC's Luca Zettel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Pablo Graf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Zettel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roth Rothschild in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Roth Rothschild ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luca Zettel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Pablo Graf came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Villarsel AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Graf couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Aventador-Sirnach's zone, Patrice Léveillé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Camenzind came out of the goal and Patrice Léveillé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Villarsel AC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaques Wiss came free, but Luca Zettel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Jaques Wiss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Zettel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Graf kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Luca Zettel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaques Wiss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villarsel AC's Luca Zettel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaques Wiss in the 94th minute of play. If Jaques Wiss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Villarsel AC's Pablo Graf dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. Aventador-Sirnach's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
