The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. René Conte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grodei SC's goalkeeper Jarno Mäder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jarno Mäder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikita Oschwald in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by René Conte in the 25th minute of play forced FC Horgen's goalkeeper Luca Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donald Aebi struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Luca Lang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grodei SC. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Horgen's Jaime Rieger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jarno Mäder. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Rieger made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Augustin Estermann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grodei SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Horgen the free kick. In the 55th match minute, Grodei SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Estermann to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Grodei SC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikita Oschwald came free, but Jarno Mäder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikita Oschwald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luca Lang. Nikita Oschwald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarno Mäder having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Grodei SC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikita Oschwald came free, but Jarno Mäder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Grodei SC defense, Nikita Oschwald kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarno Mäder. The Grodei SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarno Mäder should have stopped the shot. Nikita Oschwald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarno Mäder having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fremont Pfeffer in the 98th minute of play forced FC Horgen's goalkeeper Luca Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Horgen's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
