A collision led to st.moritz getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Pete Burgermeister hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo von Planta got free with Cliff Fuerst in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vittore Suppiger in the 23rd minute of play forced Flurlingen FC's goalkeeper Cliff Fuerst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Vittore Suppiger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cliff Fuerst. That made the score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. The Flurlingen FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Flurlingen FC's Mac Jäger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute, Garin Soucy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flurlingen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind st.moritz's goalkeeper Marc Maina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Flurlingen FC got a freekick which was hit by Pepito Pfenniger. Pierre Frutig who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Cliff Fuerst when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The st.moritz players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Flurlingen FC were winning 1-3.

If Pepito Pfenniger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garin Soucy got free with Marc Maina in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pete Burgermeister's late challenge caught a Flurlingen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pete Burgermeister helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes st.moritz got a freekick which was hit by Pete Burgermeister. Marc Maina made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Garin Soucy sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Frutig in the 58th minute of play forced Flurlingen FC's goalkeeper Cliff Fuerst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, st.moritz's goalkeeper Marc Maina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garin Soucy. Mac Jäger let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 61st minute shot 1-4 at rihgt post. Flurlingen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave st.moritz the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Garin Soucy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flurlingen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Garin Soucy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Maina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Flurlingen FC's Mac Jäger in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye st.moritz's goalie prevented a goal. After 86 minutes, Mac Jäger made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. st.moritz's Marc Maina tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vittore Suppiger struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Cliff Fuerst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for st.moritz. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Garin Soucy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Garin Soucy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Flurlingen FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
