Joshua Weltert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rupert Winiger, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Cedric Struver stood somewhat misplaced when Allan Thoma came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Thoma got free with Cedric Struver in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 22nd minute of the match Ulf Müggler completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ulf Müggler a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, FC Florian's Ulf Müggler got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Rupert Winiger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joshua Weltert having to interfere. Gernot Kirsch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joshua Weltert having to make a save. Allan Thoma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, FC Florian's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Winiger came free, but Joshua Weltert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rupert Winiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Rupert Winiger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joshua Weltert made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Joel Witschard sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Rupert Winiger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hundwil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rupert Winiger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joshua Weltert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The FC Florian players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
