The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nat Gauch during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes FC Quar got a freekick which was hit by Nat Gauch. After 13 played minutes FC Quar got a freekick which was hit by Nat Gauch. Salomon Krummenacher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Schneebeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunter Schreider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st play minute Gunter Schreider came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Salomon Krummenacher. 2-0. If Jon Schneebeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Gunter Schreider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunter Schreider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jon Schneebeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute, Apollo 11 got a penalty, and Mickey Zumsteg placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. If Jon Schneebeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, Apollo 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Neudorf to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Gunter Schreider left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apollo 11 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 66 minutes into the game, Apollo 11's Gunter Schreider nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salomon Krummenacher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Salomon Krummenacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunter Schreider in the 73rd minute of the match. When Jon Schneebeli came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Apollo 11 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon Schneebeli couldn't finish the play. Nat Gauch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, one of FC Quar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Apollo 11 a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mickey Zumsteg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Quar's Salomon Krummenacher. 7-0. FC Quar's Salomon Krummenacher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunter Schreider in the 84th minute of play. Jon Schneebeli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salomon Krummenacher having to make a save. Salomon Krummenacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Schneebeli in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Jon Schneebeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salomon Krummenacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salomon Krummenacher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jon Schneebeli's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The supporters of FC Quar booed when Apollo 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Schneebeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jon Schneebeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Apollo 11 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
