Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jurij Tomasi made the kick off which started today's match. After 7 minutes, Matthias Mottolese mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the K12 Academy and the Schmitten players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Matthias Mottolese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10thth minute of the game Valentin Heinzer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schmitten's Donald Brousse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Garry Nietlisbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurij Tomasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, K12 Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Jurij Tomasi came free, but Garry Nietlisbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Andy Winkler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Andy Winkler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Schmitten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jurij Tomasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Garry Nietlisbach made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurij Tomasi in the 26th minute of play forced K12 Academy's goalkeeper Garry Nietlisbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garry Nietlisbach made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Andy Winkler sent off a good shot on target. Donald Brousse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Heinzer in the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, K12 Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Jurij Tomasi came free, but Garry Nietlisbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andy Winkler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garry Nietlisbach made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andy Winkler in the 50th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Heinzer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Matthias Mottolese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to K12 Academy getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Michael Rütimann hit a great ball. If Andy Winkler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jurij Tomasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Garry Nietlisbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, K12 Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Winkler came free, but Garry Nietlisbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Andy Winkler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garry Nietlisbach was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When Jurij Tomasi came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Schmitten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jurij Tomasi couldn't finish the play. Luca Sankt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Schmitten! Schmitten:s Donald Brousse showed great skill when he stopped Raffaello Bachelard:s penalty. Boris Lamontagne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Andy Winkler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schmitten's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Winkler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garry Nietlisbach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Andy Winkler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garry Nietlisbach came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Schmitten's Andy Winkler. But to his dismay, Andy Winkler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Boris Lamontagne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Andy Winkler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 98 played minutes K12 Academy got a freekick which was hit by Samir Racine. Schmitten's Griffin Foerster got a good chance for a goal in the 101st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Schmitten fans cheered their team off the field, for while K12 Academy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
