Samuele Wyser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Qela in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lutz Panara to make the kick off. Fräschels HC's Samuele Wyser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lutz Panara in the 57th minute of play. If Lutz Panara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Björn Reuteler fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fräschels HC's protests and gave Björn Reuteler a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fräschels HC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Samuele Wyser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over AS Breganzona could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fräschels HC throughout the match.
