Oliver Zwygart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Biermann having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Oliver Zwygart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Biermann. fc schaffhausen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oliver Zwygart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Blaise Hellmüller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc Brix in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Zwygart made a kick off. Oliver Zwygart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gerulf Zweig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blaise Hellmüller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luc Brix in the 58th minute of the match. The referee showed Hadrian Ruano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind fc schaffhausen's goalkeeper Mauro Biermann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Gerulf Zweig notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of fc schaffhausen's Mauro Biermann. Mauro Biermann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luc Brix in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blaise Hellmüller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramon Haefeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaise Hellmüller having to interfere. There was no doubt that fc schaffhausen were the better team. fc schaffhausen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
