Nikodemus Stössel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Margùerat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes Matélon got a freekick which was hit by Claude Racine. Jonas Margùerat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Matélon's Claude Racine got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Noquest defense, Claude Racine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikodemus Stössel. The Noquest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikodemus Stössel should have stopped the shot. After 26 played minutes Matélon got a freekick which was hit by Claude Racine. The supporters of Matélon booed when Noquest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ken Widmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikodemus Stössel came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Matélon's Claude Racine. But to his dismay, Claude Racine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Nikodemus Stössel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Müller in the 35th minute of the match. The Noquest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikodemus Stössel should have stopped the shot. Dylan Müller kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Claude Racine put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Nikodemus Stössel. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claude Racine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Valentin Müller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matélon and the Noquest players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valentin Müller hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to Matélon getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Matthes Rager hit a great ball. Samuel Santucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Chuck Moschen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Noquest's zone, Jonas Margùerat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikodemus Stössel came out of the goal and Jonas Margùerat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Matélon's Claude Racine ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nikodemus Stössel. Nikodemus Stössel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 71 minutes into the game, Jonas Margùerat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Nikodemus Stössel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claude Racine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikodemus Stössel having to interfere. Jonas Margùerats short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Nikodemus Stössel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dario Mitter kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. With a little luck, Noquest's Nikodemus Stössel got control of the ball when Jonas Margùerat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonas Margùerat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nikodemus Stössel having to make a save. 83 minutes into the game, Matthes Rager cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Nikodemus Stössel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 87 played minutes Claude Racine rounded Noquest's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. The supporters of Noquest booed when Matélon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Gygax didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Santucci in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chuck Moschen saved Matélon from getting behind. After having played for 95 minutes, Samuel Santucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noquest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Santucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 minutes, Nico Gygax mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matélon and the Noquest players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Noquest booed when Matélon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Gygax didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matélon's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
