Tobiah Honauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikodemus Stössel having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Karl Siedler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roncapiano HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Siedler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Karl Siedler came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Roncapiano HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Siedler couldn't finish the play. Nikodemus Stössel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiah Honauer in the 17th minute of play. Julien Zwinggi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Gersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Hector Chassot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Roncapiano HC's zone, Samuel Santucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julien Zwinggi came out of the goal and Samuel Santucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the game, Roncapiano HC's Karl Siedler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikodemus Stössel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tobiah Honauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Samuel Santucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Noquest booed when Roncapiano HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Chassot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, one of Roncapiano HC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Noquest's Dylan Müller got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Julien Zwinggi. In the 44th minute Tobiah Honauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikodemus Stössel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ken Widmer charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ken Widmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Noquest getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ken Widmer hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Nero Belliger sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Noquest's Nikodemus Stössel didn't even have to move. Fernand Hirter hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Nikodemus Stössel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Karl Siedler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Nikodemus Stössel made a huge save. Nikodemus Stössel made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Karl Siedler sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Jonathan Gersten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Samuel Santucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julien Zwinggi. Roncapiano HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Santucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 90th minute, Samuel Santucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julien Zwinggi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Gersten in the 96th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Noquest were victorious despite being under pressure from Roncapiano HC for much of the match.
