Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonardo Fries took the kick off in the first half of the match. Christopher Becker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronan Kaestner having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC BASEL's zone, Christopher Becker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronan Kaestner came out of the goal and Christopher Becker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronan Kaestner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Fries, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Uitikon booed when FC BASEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Gärtner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Fries blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronan Kaestner having to make a save. Leonardo Fries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Christopher Becker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronan Kaestner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Frei during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Carlos Frei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Gideon Poulin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nikolai Stutz skillfully saved the ball. Christopher Becker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronan Kaestner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. If Christopher Becker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronan Kaestner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Fries, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Leonardo Fries had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronan Kaestner. FC BASEL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Fries was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maxence Faure made a kick off. Ronan Kaestner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Fries, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uitikon's Pedro Vogt got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Uitikon's Nikolai Stutz got control of the ball when Fridolin Käuflin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Fries in the 60th minute of play forced FC BASEL's goalkeeper Ronan Kaestner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Federico Soucy during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Leonardo Fries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Fries took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronan Kaestner. Ronan Kaestner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ronan Kaestner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Fries in the 77th minute of play. Ronan Kaestner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christopher Becker's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Leonardo Fries fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronan Kaestner having to interfere. Ronan Kaestner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Fries in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to FC BASEL getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Stef Ziörjen hit a great ball. Uitikon walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
