When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miroslav Peyer made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Rodrigo Gerig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anata wa Utsukusi's Thierry Pauli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thierry Pauli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Brandenberger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Carlos Brandenberger came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Ferden FC fans jumped to their feet. Anata wa Utsukusi's Thierry Pauli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Gerig in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Carlos Brandenberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thierry Pauli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Gerig in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thierry Pauli saved Anata wa Utsukusi from getting behind. A hard shot 66 in the game by Salomon Mahle from a close distance when the talented Giovanni Piller managed to make a qualified save. Ferden FC's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Anata wa Utsukusi's Miroslav Peyer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giovanni Piller. That made the score 1-1 after 87 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ferden FC's zone, Miroslav Peyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovanni Piller came out of the goal and Miroslav Peyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Ferden FC's Carlos Brandenberger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thierry Pauli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anata wa Utsukusi succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ferden FC had controlled the match.
