When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paul Fugère to strike the kick off in the second half. Thierry Pauli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Fugère in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Anata wa Utsukusi's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Fugère came free, but Thierry Pauli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Salomon Mahle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thoralf Wiedemeier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Thierry Pauli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Anata wa Utsukusi's Ilja Poulin got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th match minute, Anata wa Utsukusi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Fuchs to maneuver through the defense. Salomon Mahle kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match.
