Valentino Maina came out and tried to block the shot, but Charles Labrie slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, one of FC Winznau:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Winznau. After a rather tough play, Lameiro FC's Jochen Sueur got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to FC Winznau getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jurij Sablone hit a great ball. When Charles Labrie came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the FC Winznau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Labrie couldn't finish the play. Pablo Schenker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Freihofer in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Garrick Curti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lameiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garrick Curti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Schenker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Doucet, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Charles Labrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Winznau booed when Lameiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jochen Sueur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Lameiro FC's goalkeeper Valentino Maina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jurij Sablone. 44 minutes into the match, FC Winznau's goal looked a bit too open when Garrick Curti came free, but Pablo Schenker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remo Rothschild's late challenge caught a Lameiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remo Rothschild helped the player get up and apologised. Remo Rothschild kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Winznau defense, Artur Freihofer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Schenker. The FC Winznau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Schenker should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Juergen Hirschy hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Lameiro FC defense, Nicolas Kolb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentino Maina. The Lameiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentino Maina should have stopped the shot. Jochen Sueur lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Charles Labrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Valentino Maina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joakim Finkel charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joakim Finkel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andre Doucet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 played minutes FC Winznau got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Bürgin. In the 92nd minute, Artur Freihofer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Winznau's Pablo Schenker didn't even have to move. FC Winznau's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
