Didier Bluom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Doucet, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 21st minute, Trogomare's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Garrick Curti fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 24 minutes into the match, Trogomare's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Doucet came free, but Didier Bluom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Lameiro FC defense, Ben Heffliger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentino Maina. The Lameiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentino Maina should have stopped the shot. Lorenzo Affentranger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Valentino Maina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beat Althaus's late challenge caught a Lameiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beat Althaus helped the player get up and apologised. Beat Althaus hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Jochen Sueur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Trogomare's goalkeeper Didier Bluom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garrick Curti. After 42 played minutes Trogomare got a freekick which was hit by Piero Michel. 43 minutes into the match, Trogomare's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Doucet came free, but Didier Bluom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentino Maina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beat Althaus in the 45th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Lex Zingre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lameiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lex Zingre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didier Bluom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artur Freihofer to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Jochen Sueur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lameiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jochen Sueur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garrick Curti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didier Bluom having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Trogomare's goal looked a bit too open when Garrick Curti came free, but Didier Bluom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Artur Freihofer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Didier Bluom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Doucet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentino Maina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Affentranger in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trogomare's goalkeeper Didier Bluom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jochen Sueur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Trogomare's Falk Betschart got a free kick in the 69th minute. The audience was convinced that Artur Freihofer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Didier Bluom was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Artur Freihofer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Anton Hufschmid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lameiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Hufschmid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didier Bluom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Lameiro FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jochen Sueur hit a great ball.
