Charles Labrie was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Didier Bluom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jurij Sablone's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Jurij Sablone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Didier Bluom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Jurij Sablone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Didier Bluom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Schenker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Affentranger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jurij Sablone scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Didier Bluom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ben Heffliger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Schenker having to interfere. Jurij Sablone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Didier Bluom having to make a save. Trogomare's Didier Bluom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Trogomare from getting a goal against them. Gautier Rüegsegger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Winznau's Gautier Rüegsegger got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Juergen Hirschy fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Winznau's protests and gave Juergen Hirschy a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Ben Heffliger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trogomare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Heffliger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Labrie made a kick off. In the 55th minute Charles Labrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didier Bluom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Gautier Rüegsegger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Charles Labrie managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Winznau's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Labrie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didier Bluom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jurij Sablone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juergen Hirschy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didier Bluom having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Charles Labrie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Didier Bluom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurij Sablone in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Charles Labrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didier Bluom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jurij Sablone came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FC Winznau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jurij Sablone couldn't finish the play.
