Basel FC's Raphael Pollastrini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Basel FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herwig Höltschi during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fc Bierfront booed when Basel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herwig Höltschi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nikita Feurer to strike the kick off in the second half.
