Mike Toppi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giswil's Mike Toppi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyros Weber in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Valentino Braun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Filisur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentino Braun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quintinus Koller's late challenge caught a Giswil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quintinus Koller helped the player get up and apologised. Quintinus Koller kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Bastien Gersten struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Kajetan Schmid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giswil. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remo Gaeta was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Filisur's Valentino Braun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mike Toppi. Mike Toppi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 55 minutes into the match, Valentino Braun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mike Toppi. Giswil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentino Braun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Kyros Weber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filisur's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyros Weber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mike Toppi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes in the game, Valentino Braun fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mike Toppi having to interfere. If Kyros Weber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lenz Chalut charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lenz Chalut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute, Lenz Chalut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mike Toppi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kyros Weber in the 79th minute. After 83 played minutes Giswil got a freekick which was hit by Rowan Dillier. The audience was convinced that Valentino Braun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mike Toppi was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentino Braun in the 86th minute of play forced Giswil's goalkeeper Mike Toppi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Giswil getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Albin Ursprung hit a great ball. Filisur's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
