Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hajo Henseler made the kick off which started today's match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ensex fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Chuck Schreiber, was totally fooled by Neyruz SC's Erik Trolla, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Odin Shuster in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chuck Schreiber saved Ensex from getting behind. Arturo Figini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopold Küttel in the 22nd minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Neyruz SC got a freekick which was hit by Beniamino Schaerer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Odin Shuster in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chuck Schreiber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, Ensex's goal looked a bit too open when Odin Shuster came free, but Chuck Schreiber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Raphael Schmidlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neyruz SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raphael Schmidlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chuck Schreiber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Odin Shuster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Chuck Schreiber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute of the match, Odin Shuster tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chuck Schreiber saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Raphael Schmidlin scored 2-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chuck Schreiber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Odin Shuster stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arturo Figini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopold Küttel in the 53rd minute. Ensex's Solomon Buck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arturo Figini in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 56th match minute, Neyruz SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beniamino Schaerer to maneuver through the defense. When Ensex's Hajo Henseler in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Neyruz SC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st minute, Raphael Schmidlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chuck Schreiber was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Chuck Schreiber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Schmidlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Amadeus Schnyder fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ensex's protests and gave Amadeus Schnyder a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Amadeus Schnyder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Odin Shuster came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Neyruz SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odin Shuster couldn't finish the play. Chuck Schreiber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raphael Schmidlin's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Raphael Schmidlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Chuck Schreiber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chuck Schreiber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odin Shuster in the 78th minute of the match. Billy Gervoletti hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Chuck Schreiber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raphael Schmidlin's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 89th match minute, Neyruz SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beniamino Schaerer to maneuver through the defense. Odin Shuster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Chuck Schreiber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raphael Schmidlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Neyruz SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
