In the 38th minute of the match Lukas Beyer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Walter skillfully saved the ball. Francois Strebel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Ramon Eichmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Francois Strebel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Eichmann having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Bruno Kaiser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francois Strebel was the one to do the kick off. Artur Walter made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Bruno Kaiser sent off a good shot on target. Wigand Büchel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute of the match, Bruno Kaiser got a very nice opportunity to score, but Artur Walter was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Karakartal JK's Artur Walter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Boog in the 67th minute of play. Karakartal JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Zeiher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fabrizio Fridli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francois Strebel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Eichmann having to interfere. Karakartal JK were furious when Wigand Büchel was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Karakartal JK booed when Bex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Kaiser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Eichmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francois Strebel, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
