After a rather tough play, Black Dragons's Eugene Himmel got a free kick in the 15th minute. After recieving a nice pass, FC Slayer-King's Theo Gisler tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Black Dragons's Geronimo Dubler got control of the ball when Philippe Bolla tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Baptiste Moos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Dubler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Kolb, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Kolja Duplanty got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Theo Gisler was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 33 played minutes Black Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Eugene Himmel. A hard shot 43 in the game by Philippe Bolla from a close distance when the talented Geronimo Dubler managed to make a qualified save. Black Dragons's players were relieved. Philippe Bolla scored 1-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geronimo Dubler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 56th minute David Kolb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Dubler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Claude's late challenge caught a Black Dragons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Claude helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Black Dragons booed when FC Slayer-King was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Claude didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Baptiste Moos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jamal Jeanquartier. FC Slayer-King's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baptiste Moos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 72nd minute of the match Ingvar Migneault shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geronimo Dubler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Geronimo Dubler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Kolb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Eugene Himmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82ndth minute of the game David Kolb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Dragons's Geronimo Dubler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geronimo Dubler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe Bolla, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Eugene Himmel hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute David Kolb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Dubler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black Dragons's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Theo Gisler was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Slayer-King's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Theo Gisler got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Geronimo Dubler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Black Dragons walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
