Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) David Kolb started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Torben Probst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torben Probst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamal Jeanquartier having to interfere. Jamal Jeanquartier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ulli Amrein. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Affoltern am Albis's goalkeeper Gerold Widmer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When David Kolb came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the FC Slayer-King fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Kolb couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Torben Probst managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Affoltern am Albis's supporters rose to their feet, but Torben Probst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamal Jeanquartier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute, Guido Pierucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torben Probst kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 28thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Slayer-King's keeper Jamal Jeanquartier was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Julio Esposito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SV Affoltern am Albis's Gerold Widmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Kolb in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Slayer-King's zone, Torben Probst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jamal Jeanquartier came out of the goal and Torben Probst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerold Widmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Kolb, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, SV Affoltern am Albis's Clayton Yelmorini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jamal Jeanquartier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The SV Affoltern am Albis players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Slayer-King were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julio Esposito made a kick off. David Kolb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerold Widmer having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Philippe Bolla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Slayer-King fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jamal Jeanquartier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Esposito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Torben Probst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The attack was good, but when Julio Esposito in the 65th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gerold Widmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Pierucci in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Clayton Yelmorini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamal Jeanquartier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jamal Jeanquartier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Esposito in the 74th minute of the match. Philippe Bolla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Gerold Widmer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Julio Esposito managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Affoltern am Albis's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Esposito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Kolb in the 83rd minute of play forced SV Affoltern am Albis's goalkeeper Gerold Widmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SV Affoltern am Albis defense, Philippe Bolla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerold Widmer. The SV Affoltern am Albis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerold Widmer should have stopped the shot. Philippe Bolla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
